BoomYard LA stands tall as one of the city's most exciting cultural events. A once a month pop up venture founded by Leslie Cooney, Cary Sullivan, DJ Delano and Delicious Vinyl brothers Mike and Rick Ross, BoomYard has become a staple experience, representing fun and freedom in the local Caribbean community.

Most recently, the party has been presented by LargeUp.com in association with KingstonToLA.com. Entertainers such as Tifa, Marlon Asher, Rayvon, Gappy Ranks, Tarrus Riley, Estelle, Yaadcore, Shinehead and Mr. Vegas have all blessed the yard in 2017 with spontaneous performances that left guests thrilled with the element of surprise. DJs such as DJ Crooks, DJ Daneekah, DJ Rampage Global, Reid Waters and more have provided the genre related music for each installment.

BoomYard, which is also an all ages affair, brings out vendors such as RastaToTheBone, EyeWhoSee, Juk Gyal, Italist Creations, Phillipa Imani, local artist Clint Smith and more. The festival-like atmosphere is perfect for parents who want to enjoy Caribbean culture, while kids can let loose on the event's signature bounce house. BoomYard's September edition featured an exciting water gun war, which entertained the little ones and all who peeped the mini battles being won!
