After a week of celebration, we are back on the grind here on the West Coast. Here is this week's theme music:

Kacy Hill is a new face off of the GOOD Music label. Her heartfelt confessions over an electronic setting is just what her debut record, Like a Woman, embodies. The album is a gunshot, this song, the itchy trigger finger:

The best of both worlds; that's what a cover can be. Sampha, who's most recent release Process has put the music world on notice, covered Solange's epic single "Cranes in the Sky." Sampha doesn't stray too far from the original, but places enough of his own flavor on the track for it to be memorable. Pree below:
