Summertime is in full swing, but like all good things, we are coming close to the end. With this in mind, we rounded up the hottest videos from July to keep the party going and the summer dream alive.

The Ova Dweet Riddim, produced by Notnice Records, is one of the hottest riddims of the year. Demarco's track "Remix" pumps new life into the riddim and gives it a fresh flare; check it out below.

Mr. Vegas and Popcaan got into a little disagreement recently. It all started when Mr. Vegas took to social media to defend dancehall music; speaking out in regards to the recent trend of many popular artists using dancehall rhythms in their music, yet not giving credit to where their new "sound" was derived. Mr. Vegas was speaking of Drake, more specifically. Popcaan responded, stating he doesn't feel anyone needs to defend his honor. This created a little tension between the two dancehall artists. It seems as though this tension continues to boil into the summers months, as is evidenced by Mr. Vegas's new music video "Own Leader," from his new album This Is Dancehall, out on August 12th.

One of the catchiest songs of the summer is "I Got You" from Shaggy, featuring one of our favorite rising stars, Jovi Rockwell. The song garnered attention here in the states this past month and has become a favorite of dancehall/reggae fans. The song samples James Brown's soulful 1964 hit of the same name and gives the listener some good dance party vibes. Enjoy our summertime anthem below.

Protoje has been touring all summer long, and while he was recently in sunny southern California and in Las Vegas, he recorded his music video for "Can't Feel No Way." This is the first video off of his critically acclaimed album Royalty Free, Side B.

Stephen "Ragga" Marley debuted his video for "Scars On My Feet," featuring Waka Flocka, from his new album Revelation Part II: The Fruit Of Life. The song reflects on the struggle that is life and success. Much of the music video was filmed in downtown Los Angeles.

Charly Black also voiced over the Ova Dweet Riddim with his fresh tune "Call Often."

Karanium had one of the hottest summer tunes of last year and with his new song "Gold" this summer seems to be no different. Have a listen and pree his new music video here on KingstonToLA.

In February, dancehall and reggae artist Busy Signal recorded a song to celebrate Black History Month entitled "Free Up." A film student, Wally Digital, took the song and made a music video for the inspiring tune. Free Up!

Stay tuned throughout the year as we bring you our list of hottest dancehall tracks for 2016 on KingstonToLA.com.
