Same time, same bad channel. KNG2LA is back, putting our musical tastes on front street. In Vol. 11, we go over the past few months and highlight some artists and songs that we may have taken for granted; as they have continued to wind up in our weekend playlist. So, let's get started.

Mr. Eazi is part of the new movement from West Africa that has found the sound. A mix of afrobeats, dancehall, r&b/hip hop. Signed to Wizkid's Starboy Worldwide records, his new full-length will be out this summer, and we can't wait. In the meantime, listen and revisit the hit, "Leg Over" below:

Another one of our favorites that continues to come back in our mix is Chronixx's single, "Likes." A turn from his reggae roots sound, the electronic jam still manages to drive home a message. That true artistry resonates globally, with real people worldwide, not just people online.

So, the highly anticipated album by SZA, CTRL, is still not here; still delayed. Yet, the single she released earlier this year, "Drew Barrymore," still brings the vibes. So, pree and continue to be on the lookout for the full length in the coming months.

So, I lied. We have been listening to one thing that is current. The new Louis and The Child EP, Love is Alive. Here is one of the standout tracks, "World On Fire" featuring Ashe. A chill, melodic, spoken word infused jam that we are hyped on. Pree below:
