One of the hardest working dancehall dancers on the scene right now is Jason Facey. Hailing from Port Maria St. Mary, Jamaica, Facey has made it his life's purpose to do what he loves while also paying tribute to his culture.
Jason Facey is a dancer, choreographer, producer, actor, photographer, and now a clothing designer.
Facey just wrapped up dancing for Gwen Stefani on her "This Is What the Truth Feels Like" tour. His positive outlook on life touch those around him and shine through in everything he does.
A dancehall dancer at heart, he also went to school for production and photography at Southern Connecticut State University. His production skills are on full display as he writes and produces hilariously entertaining skits on his Instagram page. Most of them pay homage to Jamaica and poke fun at his Jamaican culture.
If that isn't enough, a few days ago he launched his own clothing line to help remind all of us that anything is possible as long as you believe in yourself and live life with positive vibes.
Facey's spirit is contagious. His positive attitude is one to emulate. Facey, who now resides in Los Angeles, can be seen teaching dancehall classes at Millennium Dance Complex in North Hollywood or at Zulu's Maniac Studio in Van Nuys. You can also spot him on the dance floor practicing his moves at Pum Pum Tuesday's or Controlla Thursdays in Hollywood.
If you're interested, he will be teaching dancehall classes on November 20th in Van Nuys for a fundraising event with Dance Jamaica, organized by Benedetta Pauztzo.
