We're always listening to lots of music, discovering new sounds, artists and in some cases even genres. With that in mind, we figured we'd let you in on the new singles heating up our KingstonToLA playlist. As our Los Angeles summer draws to a close, this playlist sets out to pump the music that makes us want to hold on to that last glimmer of summer.

Singer-songwriter Banks' debut album took the world by storm. Now, a new single that precedes an album that will be just as firey. Vibe out here:

Miguel keeps pushing the limits of R&B. This is nothing new, but his track for the Netflix series "The Get Down" perfectly takes Grandmaster Flash's late 70s NY and brings it into the now.  Pree below:

Zhu's debut album has us zoning. It's mix of tropical loops is giving us 80s flashbacks. This record is on everyone's radar and you should take note as well. Here is one of our favorties from their debut album "GENERATIONWHY" entitled Hometown Girl:

Although the debut album from KAYTRANADA came out in early May, and this song with Anderson .Paak a month before that, we are still jamming out to what this dynamic duo created with GLOWED UP. Keep the summer alive with this bouncer:

To tie it all together, our final song stays in the Anderson .Paak lane. Here is another guest feature that keeps our heads bobbing; Mac Miller and Anderson combine on Dang! beautifully. The single represents the chill vibe of a west coast August.

Enjoy the rest of your summer fellow Angelenos. Feel free to pump our "Sounds of Summer" playlist while the days are still long:
