California is well known for its upful vibes and natural beauty. One purveyor of these vibes is DJ Green B, a Bay area empress who is well known for her fresh reggae and dancehall mixes. If you've had the chance to catch DJ Green B live, you're already in the know. She goes the extra mile to bring the most authentic, latest and greatest tunes to her set. Green B is also a recent soundclash champion who shines at these events due to her enviable arsenal of dub-plates.

We were thrilled when DJ Green B dropped her latest mix "Nice Up Di Scene." It's a conscious blend of 2016 roots reggae music. "Nice Up Di Scene" marks Volume 10 in her much anticipated "Hot Gyal Promotion MixCd" series. Green B's fans and followers can always look forward to at least one conscious mix per year, as the selectress is known for her diligence, spending much of her time researching new tunes and riddims. "They are my favorite mixes to make. I like the flow to be seamless and the content to match. For example, conscious to lovers and not back and forth." says DJ Green B.

"Nice Up Di Scene" features tracks from veteran artists such as Freddie McGregor, as well as rising stars Chronixx, Kelissa, Jesse Royal and Randy Valentine. The title track, "Nice Up Di Scene" is from roots reggae up- and-comer Mortimer backed by the "Mile High Riddim."

Up next, DJ Green B will be debuting two special mixes before the end of the year. One will be a collaboration with the Satori Movement hosted by one of this year's breakout roots reggae empresses Jah9 and the other -  a signature "Green B" dancehall mix. We are looking forward to both mixes, as they will surely keep us vibing into the new year.
