His "Rockers Room" series has become one of the more talked about mixes from DJ Crooks and has people in the LA area anxiously anticipating each new release. His latest "Rockers Room" release on 11.18.16 does not disappoint, filled with new school and old school roots reggae hits.

The mix features a shout out by one of LA's premiere Caribbean food caterers, Chef Ozi of Ozi's Kitchen. In addition to the sizzling vibes added by Chef Ozi, there's also a signature Keznamdi dubplate spearheading tunes on a subject we love very much here at KingstonToLA -- marijuana. We love the marijuana.

Oh well, I digress. The tape also features hits by Jo Mersa Marley, Jah Cure, Marlon Asher, Morgan Heritage and more. According to DJ Crooks, his goal is to expand on his growing listeners by turning "Rockers Room" into a weekly radio show that will eventually feature Top Ten lists, artist interviews and more. "I was gonna do [release the tapes] on Sunday, but I think Friday is better so fans can have a small dose of roots ready for the weekend", says DJ Crooks, who is already working on his next "Rockers Room" mix, set to drop this Black Friday.

In the meantime, enjoy your tofurkey and/or fried turkey goodness with some roots reggae music courtesy of "Rockers Room 11.18.16" here on KingstonToLA:
