The newest dancehall track to drop this week is generating some serious heat. Two of Portmore's best, Vybz Kartel and Masicka, lend their vocals to the single, "Infrared." The song was released on April 4th and already has over 500,00 views on YouTube. Not many dancehall songs or artists rack up that many views in such a short amount of time.

Watch as Masicka debuts the song on his Instagram riding and singing along in the car.

On social media, dancehall music fans are raving about the song saying, "it's the baddest of 2017." The wicked track links the Gaza and Genashyde leaders with a 90's dancehall beat produced by TJ Records. The collaboration is a first for the two deejays, with many hoping it's not the last.

Have your listen to "Infrared" here on Kingston To LA.

Since we are on the topic of Vybz Kartel, check out one of LA's only dancehall dancing crews, RoxStarz, dance to a soca remix of Kartel's track, "Pretty Position." The dance group created by Betty Rox, recently held auditions and this is their first music video featuring the new dancers.
