Not sure if many of you remember the Instagram video moment last summer between Sean Kingston and dancehall singer, Tommy Lee Sparta. The video ignited the dancehall circle sparking rumors and name calling by fans and other dancehall stars alike. Let us fill you in with a quick recap;
Kingston, who had just signed the budding Sparta to his record label, Time Is Money Entertainment, were sitting in Kingston's Porsche videoing a clip of the two when he reached over and patted Sparta's hair. The video was uploaded to Kingston's Instagram and thats when the trolling began. Alkaline, who around the same time had refused a deal to sign with Kingston's label, because of differences and Kingston's continued support for Alkaline's rival, Vybz Kartel, supposedly resorted to calling them both bi*ches on his own Instagram account.
Well, almost 10 months later and the beef still continues. Now, with dancehall singer, Jahmiel, in the mix. Jahmiel, who is good friends with the vendetta deejay, is taking sides with Alkaline by dissing Tommy Lee Sparta and Sean Kingston in his new song, "Dead Bwoy Leroy," calling out Sparta by his given name Leroy Russell. The song comes after Sparta's release of his war songs, "Bait" and "Dismiss."
Now, Tommy Lee Sparta has clapped back with song aptly titled, "Dead Bwoy Jahmiel."
Jahmiel is expected to drop his follow up, "Burial," soon.
Who's side are you on?
Here are opposing opinions from two instagramers:
dave.roye.92 He's definitely dead.... There's no doubt about dat, his word play is garbage. He doesn't need no attention because you can't gain from him. So get back to the money and the international hits Jahmiel.
