Mark Ronson is enjoying a successful return to the music scene with his fourth studio album, Uptown Special. Ronson is the mastermind producer behind such music powerhouses as Amy Winehouse and Adele. Up until now, Ronson has been known for the sound he creates and paves for other musicians but this latest project solidifies his own rock star qualities.

Uptown Special produced by Jeff Bhasker, is an expression of the English musician’s signature funk and R&B soul with a groovy twist. Think James Brown 2015 style. The album features special guests such as Mystikal and Bruno Mars just to name a few.

Ronson recently dedicated the album to his late friend Amy Winehouse on Instagram posting, “Although I wish you were still here, I’m always thinking of you, inspired by you and your music lives on in myself and anyone who ever felt it – Love Mark.” So sweet.
