Introducing one of NPR’s top breakout artists of 2014. American beauty Niia is an acclaimed singer, songrwiter and pianist. “Body” is the first single from her debut album Generation Blue, which dropped recently on iTunes in late 2014. The song starts off with a softly distinguished piano riff, which serves as an introduction to Niia’s light and airy jazz vocals. The single is produced by Robin Hannibal of R&B musical duo Rhye.

Niia started her music carreer by training at the Berklee College of Music when she was only 14. From there she went on to tour with Wyclef Jean before crafting her own signature sound of stylized pop. “Body” is the type of song that can make your morning coffee better. Or your evening glass of wine sexier.

Though Niia has no upcoming tour dates, Generation Blue is now available on iTunes.
