Newly anointed Dancehall celebrity Dexta Daps, is a rising star to watch this year. He has already hit us with several hot singles that are climbing the charts. The artiste was recently featured in's annual Caribbean artists to watch roundup, due to this rapid rise. 

Originally from Jamaica's Seaview Garden's neighborhood, Daps is known for his diverse sound and flexible vocals. His creative flow on the mic allows him to produce dancehall infused tracks, as well as an eclectic R & B sound. 

He has already collaborated with several artists, including KingstonToLA's Dancehall Friday's alum Tifa:

The artist recently hung out with Amber Rose at a Carnival event in Trinidad and Tobago.

With several shows coming up Daps has been making a name for himself with local Jamaican fans as well as Jamaicans all over the globe. He is set to perform on Friday March 25th in Brooklyn and will continue doing live shows in the U.S. and worldwide.

Shabba Madda Pot is Daps' breakout single launching him to dancehall fame in a short time.

Daps is currently working on his debut album, which will provide fans with even more music from his already growing catalog.
