Every so often, a female artist comes along in the dancehall scene and shakes things up. Demands that you listen, and dance. With sexy tracks like “Close To Me” on her debut “Boy Girl Love” EP, Mink Jo is a Jamaican born recording artist serving up club bangers, finessed with a vibe that would make 90’s R&B proud.

Mink Jo was recently featured on the Life Support riddim, one of the summer’s biggest dancehall riddims. The riddim was made popular by Mavado, Sean Paul and Beenie Man, each bringing their own unique style to the Justus produced track.  Check out Mink Jo’s version below:

Mink Jo is all in and constantly on her music hustle.  From home recordings of covers on Soundcloud, to collaborations with Busy Signal and artist- producer Leftside, Mink Jo brings a breath of fresh air to the Jamaican sound-waves with each new track. “It just makes me want to dance. I hope that it makes everyone else dance too!” said Mink Jo.

Running with the Brand New Machine management team, it seems as though there will only be gems from this “spirpy” artist. A term created and regularly used by BNM. Coming up, the singer is about to release her latest collaboration with Leftside for his track, “All Out”.
