Molly Moore. An auspicious name that characterizes the deep rooted presence of this eclectic talent, currently residing in Los Angeles. If you’re a music enthusiast, it’s easy to find artists like Moore who stand out. When found, faith is restored in the idea that raw talent is truly what makes an artist.
We were first introduced to Molly on Instagram. Intrigued by her beauty and drawn in even more by her voice. Moore’s style has a touch of old soul with sincere pop melodies. Moore has been on the grind for several years, and has written music for some well known talent in the business, including herself of-course. We recently caught Moore live at The Hotel Cafe introducing her new album Shadow of the Sun to willing Angelenos. Her sound reminds us a little bit of Natalie Bergman from Wild Belle, with a haunting vocal prowess that we can see placing her in the skylight.
Shadow of the Sun blends the fantasy of true love with its twisted reality and downfalls. The comfort, the pain, the joy and the magic of it all. It’s a must listen for anyone that enjoys finding new music for their ears and or NYE parties. :)
Check out Moore’s song “Natural Disaster,” written by herself, Melanie Fontana and Brandyn Burnette and fall deep in love with her too!
