Kanye’s at it again. In 2009, the rapper became synonymous for “speaking up,” when he interrupted Taylor Swift at the MTV Video Music Awards.  During Swift’s acceptance speech, West abruptly told the “Shake it Off” singer and the audience, that Beyoncé had the best video of all time, eclipsing the star’s shining moment. After some backlash West apologized and tried to make nice with T Swift.

Fast forward to 2015, West mimicked his infamous VMA diss when he partially joined Beck on stage at the 57th annual Grammy awards, after Beck’s win for “Best Album of the Year.” It seemed like West was just having a laugh, but he went on to publicly state he felt Beyoncé deserved the award. Here at KtoLA, we are torn. Beck’s catalogue is a masterful piece of work, and this year’s release was no different.  Yet, Beyoncé’s carefully crafted album and videos had us all drunk in love for the whole year. What a wonderful hangover it was. Leave it to Kanye to keep it real and get the music world thinking. What do you think?
